The Hayloft at Bradgate Manor is situated in the Hampshire village of Netley Abbey, which is very close to Southampton Water. Netley Abbey is just 10 minutes drive from central Southampton and also 10 minutes drive from junction 8 of the M27. Southampton airport is just 15 minutes drive away, and the Central Southampton and Parkway railway stations are about 15 – 25 minutes drive away (depending on traffic conditions). Trains from Waterloo to Southampton Central take as little as 1 hour and 10 minutes and from Portsmouth just 20 minutes.
The Hayloft is attached to Bradgate Manor, a former vicarage built in 1864 and set in private woodland.
The Hayloft is just a few minutes walk away from the historic ruins of Netley Abbey and the shore of Southampton Water; a busy and interesting waterway, where it is possible to view (and, in some cases, participate in) windsurfing, sailing, kite flying and just watching the ocean-going liners and commercial shipping that is a regular feature.
Parking
There is adequate parking for attendees within the grounds and all just a few metres away from the Hayloft.
